Radiant Heat Tunnel

The Graham | Sleevit Radiant shrink sleeve tunnel is a compact design for simple installa-tions, but additional modules may be added, even after the original installation, for high-speed or multi-zoned applications. It has a double-skin insulated body to minimise heat loss, and highly polished internal surfaces to maximise heat/radiation onto the container. Graham | Sleevit Radiant shrink sleeve tunnels may be fitted at the system infeed for preheating of containers as well as after sleeve application.

The Graham | Sleevit Radiant shrink sleeve tunnel has twelve glass radiant filaments, arranged in pairs on opposite sides of the tunnel body. Each pair has individual tem-perature adjustment to ensure an ideal shrink profile and finish. Overall internal tunnel temperature is kept within close tolerances by an external temperature setting controller linked to a heat sensor inside the tunnel.

Options available for the Graham | Sleevit Radiant shrink sleeve tunnel include a system to count products in and out if there is a possibility of them falling over, and a motorised tunnel lift.

Tamper Band Shrink Sleeve Tunnel

The Graham | Sleevit Tamper Band hot air shrink sleeve tunnel is constructed in stainless steel, with open-mesh interlocked safety guarding. Additional modules or other shrink tunnels from the Accraply range may be added to the Tamper Band hot air shrink tunnel to achieve the required shrink profile, even after the original installation. Graham | Sleevit Tamper Band hot air shrink sleeve tunnels have pairs of hot air guns, each pair being fitted to a diffuser, and are designed to shrink either full-body or tamper evident sleeves. The hot air guns have adjustable temperature and air flow controls, whilst the diffusers are fully adjustable to accommodate the range of containers to be processed and ensure an ideal shrink profile and finish.

ShrinkMaster Lite

The introduction of the Accraply SleeveMaster Lite sleeve applicator highlighted a requirement for a shrink tunnel to match, both in terms of performance and market position.

Accraply designers have used the performance of the leading industrial equipment to produce the ShrinkMaster Lite shrink tunnel, a fully adjustable and insulated shrink tunnel that is capable of shrinking any container handled by a SleeveMaster Lite applicator. The width of the ShrinkMaster Lite shrink tunnel is adjustable so that it can be mounted on Accraply or customer’s conveyors. The height and angle of the ShrinkMaster Lite shrink tunnel are also adjustable to suit the container and sleeve position. The ShrinkMaster Lite shrink tunnel can also be supplied on an adjustable, free-standing base.

The body of the ShrinkMaster Lite shrink tunnel is made from stainless steel and is insulated on its inner surfaces and shrouded in stainless steel mesh on its outer surfaces to protect operators. Provision is made on the top the body for an exhaust duct to be fitted and enable the waste hot air to be extracted. As a result, tunnel heat losses are minimised, tunnel heat up times are reduced and local ambient temperature rise is minimised.

ShrinkMaster R1500

The ShrinkMaster 1500 shrink tunnel is one of the most compact recirculating shrink tunnels available, taking up only 1500mm of line length and is ideal for the shrinking of full body decorative printed sleeves. It has a single heat zone, under PID control, which together with its 16 fully adjustable fan-tail nozzles ensures accurate temperature control, and allows a heat profile to be created within the tunnel to provide efficient sleeve shrinkage.

The ShrinkMaster 1500 shrink tunnel is ideal for medium to high speed use on containers such as jars or large tubs. It is able to shrink the sleeve without appreciable heating of the container, thus making it suitable for chilled or frozen foods. Its close temperature control and good carcass insulation make the ShrinkMaster 1500 shrink tunnel an efficient solution to shrinking Sleeve Labels and pre-heating glass containers prior to Sleeve Label application.

‘Stand-alone’ operation of the ShrinkMaster 1500 shrink tunnel is possible, but its full capabilities are best used when it is integrated with one of the Sleevit range of SleeveMaster sleeve applicators.
