Servo Label Registration System

Application

This upgrade compensates for registration eye marks that are out of specification due to variations in printing cylinders, die plates or material stretching. This Servo upgrade uses a proprietary algorithm to monitor and adjust for variations in the pitch length of the eye marks resulting in cut lengths of +/- 1/32 of an inch.

The upgrade replaces the feed roller encoder and AC drive motor, and requires only one size feed roller for all change parts used on the labeler.

This upgrade can be added to any PLC or relay logic Trine labeler. It incorporates its own electrical control box that houses the power supply, motion controller, and servo drive. For PLC-based labelers, a software upgrade is required to interface with the main labeler touch screen. For relay logic based labelers, the upgrade also includes an enclosure housing a separate touch screen.
