The original heavy-duty Doctor Machine,® the Stanford brand of equipment provides an efficient method of salvaging defective material.
There will be rolls that have small solvent voids, either when a splice occurs, or when the machine stops and starts. Gone are the days when every foot of material had to be inspected for good seam quality or extreme lay-flat variations. With better equipment and better trained operators, the problems that plagued the industry in the beginning are mostly gone.
Our roll Doctor Machines® are used to remove defective printing, repair splices, re-tension loose rolls and edge guide rolls of defective material. 142LT
The classic Stanford 142 provides an efficient and economic means of salvaging defective product. Rolls of non-extensible material such as paper, film, foil and laminate, can be edge-trimmed, web-guided and re-tensioned.
142HD
The Stanford 142HD provides an efficient method of salvaging defective material. Doctoring capabilities include correcting telescoped rolls, removing defective stock, repairing splices, re-tensioning loose rolls, edge trimming and butt-roll rewinding.
152LT
A highly versatile light-tension roll Doctor Machine®, the reversible 152LT is used to remove defective printing, repair splices, re-tension loose rolls and edge guide rolls of defective material.
152HC
A high-capacity, light-tension and reversible roll Doctor Machine®, the 152HC can handle a wide variety of materials and web widths. The 152HC is suitable for a wide range of materials, including light films, film laminates, non-wovens and light papers.

DM6
The lightest tension roll Doctor Machine® on the market, the DM6 label inspection machine is designed specifically for the wraparound label and narrow-web shrink sleeve markets.
DM12
The DM12 has many advanced features to simply the roll doctoring process. A manual inspection button allows the operator to return the detected defect to the splice table automatically, while automatic inspection for UV, seam integrity, and flags will return the defective location to the splice table.
